Shannan brings 30 years of industry experience, including over 28 years in consulting as well as 5 years as a Director of Total Rewards at Federated Co-operatives Ltd.
Some of Shannan’s most notable work has influenced and shaped strategic human resources and people practices for both public and private sector organizations. She understands the delicate relationship between both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of compensation and total rewards. It is this well-rounded approach that has led her to being successful in offering a wide array of implementable solutions to key decision makers. Shannan helps in building congruencies between organizational strategic direction, to business plans, to implementing long-term compensation strategies that transform cultures, to measuring metrics and KPIs. Her work as an Associate Actuary along with leading the Total Rewards strategy for one of the largest companies in Saskatchewan, has positioned her as a subject matter expert in pension and benefits solutions, and cost and job analysis as a foundation for organizational effectiveness.

Cody possesses over ten years of experience working in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, including direct experience working for First Nation governments. Cody’s background also includes significant instructional experience, having delivered graduate-level courses on strategic management and workshops to boards on the fundamentals of good governance. He lives a commitment to continuous education by serving on the board of the Canadian Evaluation Society’s Education Fund while also obtaining a designation as a Credentialed Evaluator (CE).
Cody’s circuitous professional history displays a commitment to continuous organizational improvement and a strong belief in the capacity of communities to solve their own challenges. His role comes in helping staff and leadership clearly articulate their goals, find ways to measure success, and develop processes that produce effective decisions. He has also worked as a facilitator and mediator between staff, leadership, and stakeholders, and a policy advisor to boards and governments. Cody holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy.
